VALENTINE ONE RADAR DETECTOR
|
Despite it's leviathan dimensions the H2 can still break the speed limits. While no one would condone breaking any speed limits, there are times when it is useful to know when radar is being used.
The Valentine One, (V1), radar detector still sets the standard for high quality reliable radar detection. Contrary to what anyone may say, the ability to know the direction of the threat is of immense help and an invaluable feature of the V1. The "bogey" counter allows for easy identification of multiple threats, especially useful in areas you know are prone to false alarms. The V1 can easily be hard wired into the H2 and cables ran neatly out of the way up behind the inside the A-pillar cover and behind the head liner, exiting at the visor clip. The unit can easily be disconnected and removed should the need arise. Locating the V1 on the visor using the supplied clip allows for a clear view front and rear, and as the H2 sits so high allows the V1 to work out to a good range. Running the power from a correct fuse tap from the SEO ACCY fuse, which is not used for anything else, will make the V1 ignition switched. The optional remote display can be neatly mounted on the steering wheel shroud, allowing more discrete monitoring of radar threats. As a side note, several organizations have tested the Rocky Mountain passive jammers, and they simply do not work, do not be fooled by advertising claims. Click on the pics below for larger images; |
