They all made it into town this evening about 6:30 or so...

Paragon and family went on and hit the hotel for the night.. His girls had been bubbling the entire trip about getting to go swimming, so they hit the hotel and locked themselves in.. Actually I think the traffic on Germantown road may have scared 'em.. LOL

LoLo, H2B went out and grabbed some dinner.. ABSOLUTELY LOVELY, AMAZING Ladies... We spent more time sitting there talking about all of you guys than we did eating... Was gonna drag 'em over to the Flying Saucer for drinks, but H2B looked like she was about to go down for the count..

Anyroads.. They're all here and safe...

Had a great time with Paragon, his family, LoLo and H2B.. Had about 75 or so bikes turn out and raised somewhere around 1100 toys for Le Bonheur..

Drug LoLo and H2B out to Hillbilly Hell last night.. LOL.. Went down to the New Daisy on Beale St to see Old Crow Medicine Show.. I don't think either one of 'em had a clue stuff like this existed... I think H2B may have permenant mental scars from the evening, but LoLo's hooked on 'em.. By the end of the night I think I hear LoLo say "Keith Urb who..??"

We're home safely... had a fantastic time! Rob is an amazing tour guide, and will can truly show you the art of people watching -- and some quite unique folk to ponder! We had a great time at the "new"grass concert, and meeting the "Wheels of Thunder" crowd -- I even dragged H2B and Rob to "Lee's" house after lunch with the bike crowd! (Nope, don't know more than that... just followed the guys to the beer and fellowship!)

Anyhow... the rest of you missed an amazing -- albeit SHORT -- weekend!

Here's the breakdown...

106 gallons of fuel -- $220
2 nights at the hotel -- 40,000 Hilton points
Making new friends and seeing the faces of the children when Santa arrived on a motorcycle -- PRICELESS!!!

It was definitely a cultural experience I never expected to encounter on this trip but one I greatly enjoyed (despite the look of dismay and astonishment on my face at times)! It topped off a day of emotions ranging from excitement to near tears.

Rob, thanks for the invitation to take part in the toy run this weekend...it feels good to help make a difference in someone's life if only for a few minutes!!!
