Thanks everyone! I have had it for 5 years. I actually had a truck and it Was really nice but I never used the bed of the truck. I wanted an suv so I could put stuff in the back of it but I didn't want a "soccer mom car" amd my family all rides dirt bikes and 4 wheelers and we have a jeep and stuff so I was always into the off road thing so one day I saw one at a dealership and loved it. The only thing about that one is that it was the SUT version so it wasn't enclosed in the back like a normal SUV so I didn't want that one. Searched high and low for a nice one with low mileage for months and finally found this one. I actually got lucky because that's when the economy wasn't as strong and gas was over $3 a gallon so people were trading in big vehicles trying to get better gas mileage but I didn't care about that so just great timing.
I put the after market wheels and tires on it then within the first few months of owning it people had broke into it 4-5 times so I got the remote start/alarm added to it. That's really all I have done to change it. I had the air ride suspension redone because the airbags were original and the running lights on top above the windshield had to get replaced because a valet parking guy tried to park it in a garage that was too short (I had been there a million times and told him he had to park it in oversized parking area but he didn't listen
)
I had the sound system inside re done with a new radio and new speakers, the Bose speakers that come in them are great but if you change the screen to an after market one the bose don't sound as great anymore
I also had a CB radio and PA installed on it.
If I could have any vehicle I would totally get an H1 though! My mom makes fun of me because I always get upset because they don't make hummer anymore so I'll never have the opportunity to have a hummer family. Haha I want me my husband and my kids to all drive a hummer but I'm still young and not married so obviously kids are a long ways off haha
