Will 285/75/16's fit on my H3T without using a leveling kit?

I ran them on my truck for a week or so before raising the front end and had less rubbing on the sway bar than I do now. That being said it depends on what you are going to be doing with the truck. I raised mine because I wheel it and without raising would have gotten rubbing in other areas that I wouldn't want it to rub

Also, you don't need a leveling kit. All you need to do is crank the torsion bars up. I am running leveling keys because my dealer recommended them and since they were the one determining warranty claims I went ahead and did the keys. Of course be both knew I didn't need them. After cranking up the torsion bars make sure you get an alignment though

I think the 285/75-16 are stock on the Adventure aren't they..?? Shouldn't have any problems at all with them.. Could go up to 315's with very little rubbing..

Yes, 285s are stock on all adventure series vehicles and are ok for the T

I have the adventure package and the original Bridgestone 285 75R16s. Never had any rubbing problems on or off road. The next step for me is probably the Rancho lift with 35 inch tires. Cranking the torsion bars is a good economical solution though - just don't go too high and get outside of GM design margin.

How much do you guys think the 315's will affect my gas mileage? My truck as the i5 & i've put a k&n cold air intake on it & up graded the exhaust.

4-6 MPG in my experience.

I didn't run 315s on my '06 so can't really say for the I5 and have had 315s on the Alpha from day one so not sure on how big a hit but I know it's not 4-6 MPG. It will definitely matter how you drive as that will have as much affect as the larger tires. I know a number of people in the past have said they took a 1-2 MPG hit but again, will depend on where and how you drive.

Yes, the Adventure comes with 285's, also you can have your alignment shop crank your torsion bars up level and re-align the front end. i just put some Falken Wild Peak A/T 285/75/16 on last Friday. Lynn
