Check your battery connections they may be loose. Reset BCM system by disconnecting your battery for a bit.

Ah! have had the pleasure of this same senerio 3-4 times. I've tried a lot of the above mentioned to lil effect. Open drivers door lift out contol assembly and unplug. Take it in house to air/ dry out over night. Plug in following morning. That should fix it, terrible design.

Hi guys,

I had this problem today and I have the fix.

A bit more complicated than battery but not that big of a deal.

There is a rubber pad inside the master switch that actually makes the connection when pressing the window and lock buttons. Surprisingly it's always the driver side window and lock switches that get messed up.

Here is a video I made explaining it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uekl62g ... e=youtu.be

You have to remove the door panel to get at this stuff which I did not explain in my video...sorry :( EDIT: You might not actually have to take the door panel off to get the master switch out...Maybe someone can confirm. We had already taken the panel off before we found the issue.

But it took me about 30 minutes to figure out the issue and I didn't have to buy any new parts, I just had to re-seat the rubber pad so it lined up properly again...I guess vibration over the years moves it just enough to not make the connection anymore.

Good Luck!

How long do you leave the battery disconnected? Our power locks and drivers side window stopped working after my husband pulled off the battery cables to clean them. Put them back on, and those two things suddenly don't work. He has pulled them back off to make sure tight and seated properly, so they were left off the battery for at least 20 minutes already. I see the suggestions of taking off the door panel to look at the motherboard in there, but it seems odd that it would work itself loose immediately following the battery disconnect. Suggestions, before I take it to the shop? Thanks!
