Colorado Wheeling trip (first weekend of December)

Postby BryceH3 » Mon Nov 21, 2011 7:54 pm

I wanted to plan a trip for the first weekend in December (Saturday or Sunday). I was thinking of starting on Bounce School Road, from that trail there are three more including Ironclads, Park Creek, and T-33A Plane Crash. Let me know if you would like to go. We would meet at the Starbucks in Boulder (2798 Arapahoe Avenue) at 7:00 AM.

I am in!
Real Women Drive Hummers and This One, once upon a time, Owned Her Own. Now she is just the black Jeep of the Hummer Family going topless and becoming way too dirty. (No Recovery Needed)

I would rather be found camping & off-roading than to be found at home

The others.. You might wanna think about a bit..
T-33A, I recall one of the guys here running a few years back in his Jeep Rubicon on 37's, locked front and rear and he said it was an "ineresting" trail..

Ironclads

Park Creek

There's some picture links on those pages that might give you an idea of what the trails are like..

Best advice I'll give you here.. If you do go, make sure both of you have recovery straps and d-rings..

Am looking forward to some pics..

Although, I am not really sure of a 'good turnout,' because of very few members are active with HXC. ???
If you want to spread the word, become a member of frontrange 4x4, which is easy. Send the Adminstrator an e-mail, which he will send you four or five questions to answer. Once he clears you, you then will post an introduction-you will experience a really warm welcoming from everyone. From there you can create a planned trail run. Just an idea.
