Hey H3 Beast, great ride ya got there! Too bad you said you don't have plans to wheel it, I think you would have a great time climbing up those hills heading west out on 40 (what's it called, 7mile hill? There on the left on the way out to the gun range) or down towards Los Lunas. C'mon, ya gotta get it out offroad just a little, it's a B A Solid Axle H3! :D Enjoy the H3!

haha thank you! yeah 9 mile hill is pretty insane. I mean, I'm not real familiar with wheeling so I don't really know what the capabilities of these trucks are, and I don't want to break anything lol
Thanks to everyone helping me figure this Truck out!!!

I'm sure they're pretty awesome. I am just a chicken and take a while to get it all going. I'll probably end up going offroading quite a bit, but I need to get some bravery!

Don't be brave......be educated.

Sign up for an offroad course, do a 4x4 tag-along tour, join a local offroad club, or all of these things. You will be amazed how quickly you will pick up the capability of your vehicle and yourself.

A quick google search I found this one which may be close..............

I'm sure it's listed, but I figure since I'm already on this forum as we speak, would you all have a ballpark idea as to how much an offroad class would cost? on average?

Depends on the area, whether its a club or company that puts it on, etc. The one Beebs and I went to starts at $65, plus extra for additional drivers and dinner. Not sure if NM has a state Off-Road association, but if they do, see if they sponsor any of the clinics.

Just stumbled across this looking for some other stuff..

http://store.colemans.com/cart/front-ax ... p-849.html

New replacement axles.. Not sure if $400 is really that great of a deal.. Betting shipping is going to be over $100..
