That really sucks. Although I can say that I am not surprised. Our cars are becoming way too dependent on the computer system. The hand held programmers just hit the jackpot, though. With everyone who wants to re-gear having to buy a programmer to make it work, they will sell tons of them.

H3's have a Low Power Mode, what does that mean? If something breaks, anything on that circut will go with it? Geez! I still love my Kashmir, we both are misfits. (I am joking)

The trucks go into a Low Power mode when something goes screwy with the engine, fuel delivery or exhaust systems.. I've had it happen once. Was in CO at the time.. Didn't have enough power to even CRAWL it's way up the first hill outside of Alma headed up to Hoosier Pass on Hwy 9.. Had to hit up Onstar to send a wrecker.. Turned out the fuel tank had vapor locked.. Pulled the gas cap off when we got it back to the condo and one big WHOOOSH of air later the truck started fine and the light went out..

I've since learned that when in CO and the engine light comes on, stop, remove the fuel cap for a few minutes and everything will clear up.. This happens at altitude BTW and I heard reports from other old members here they had the same problems in CO when in the mountains..
