Grin & Bear it

Postby USVibrant » Mon Mar 28, 2011 8:32 pm

I am grinning a bearing up under the pressure of the injustice I feel has been handed me with the purchase of my KIng, who no doubt has a problem, the dealership having no desire to make the deal right, even knowing I had a question, doubt that something was wrong with the clutch within days of taking him off the lot. The dealership has known from the beginning there is a transmission problem and the clutch is not the issue at all, but why would you want to admit deception when you gain. Think of the money this dealership will lose out on if they admit I am entitled to the problem being repaired, the transmission, the components that make it all work together, rather than sporadically. GRIN & BEAR IT! The warranty does not even matter. All about the in
serve date
, which is BS in my mind. I may not get justice here, but I will fight for principle. GO Chevy is getting good advertisement, sending many people in a different direction, the BBB is going to hear from me, which I must say in the past, I won two cases when contacting them, receiving all money back (I know I am not going to receive money back in this instance, but maybe the cure to the problem-better yet a good old strike on their status), and last but not least, I hope the lemon law here in Colorado will work for me. Very questionable????

Before I ending my Grin & Bear it, I would like to say to Hummbebe, I appreciate the knowledge and the experience you have, you are a woman with honor.

F5, I appreciate the knowledge and experience you have, more than not, I am totally intrigued with every solution or opinion you have with your post, and even your questions and suggestions have proved useful for me. I hope I am still invited, after you reading this post, in June. I will be there, maybe you will not be there, turn me away, because of my realness most people cannot deal with, because it is unsual, but hey, I never claim to be normal so there you have it. By the way, the tires on my KIng are not an issue, you have already pointed this out long ago. I trust you know what you are talking about, I know it to be truth. (I apologize I was not ignorning your question to me in the post I had made concerning the first makeover for my KIng, but rather striving to survive the heavy plate I carry in my life-I walk alone).

The Other Rob and ronb, thank you so much for the many smiles and laughter!

Seth and many more of you, which would be too many to mention here, who replied to my post when I was most at my wits end. Bascially, reminding me to relax and go with the flow, it will be what it will be, wait for it happen, because it may never happen. Sometimes I forget this as I strive and survive, I really have no one encouraging me to do so; however, be happy for me, because with each passing day, I am breaking out of my bondage I createded while doing time with ex husband (our divorce will be final next month), each passing day I am become freer. Freer to surround myself with people and make dreams, goals happen. I am living again.

Gator, I love your boldness, I will forever be a legend, because of I being the only one to get you to post the longest post ever. Although, it was not my intent! You are a good old Glory Hound!

RECON3 IS THE WINNER!!!!

Tomp, umm................I would like to say something to you, but I think it is best to leave my thought towards you unsaid. I do know when to keep silent. Are you impressed with that? :P

Dailydriver you are awesome! Allowing the pirates to treat your buoy like a piss toliet. Seriously, I admire you!

Mark, I hope you will make it right with my membership package, including the goodies that should arrive with it. I am not really sure why my e-mail went unanswered to you, but let it be known, I will not hound you for it either anymore. While I feel it is entitled to me, it is only a small thing and I choose not to blow it up into a big thing, I have too much other things within my life that are big, like my King.

Hummbebe, once I can pull my head out of all that is trying to zap me, twist and turn in my life, and focus on learning the facets of my King I am still going to post what I learn. I have learned a lot from you. I know I desire fox shocks! You are hardly not a woman with massive fake knowledge, why would you want a hummer chick?

Take-care everyone, Happy Humming

Could have sworn I responded to your PM last week but apparently hadn't so did a few minutes ago. You know the situation and we appreciate your understanding. Sorry for not getting back to you last week, it's been a pretty hectic week or so. Sorry to hear about the issues with your King.

My interpretation is that she thought she was having clutch issues but F5 helped her to realize it was likely trans issues and now the dealer is jacking her around. And she's pissed
What she's yet to realize is that we can help her with the dealer issue by fully understanding the issue ourselves and giving her the tools and terminology to negotiate with.

Glory Hound (thank Gator) thank you for your understanding.

My King is going to survive, he has no choice, he has his Queen behind him. Do not be sorry, this is only making he and I stronger.

You are correct in your interpretation, f5 helped to realize the issue is with the transmission and not the cluth. There is no doubt, which I will have to respond to this more fully later on; however, I would like to say something, hoping the person who this directed to will read it. While I cry my blues as to the ripples in my life, I realize they are no ripples but rather calm water compared to what you are enduring. I send you many thoughts and postive vibes your way giving the comfort, peace, needed to endure this difficult time, you and your children.

It's always a great experience to watch other women experience and grow in their confidence. I have a few wheeling friends that are by besties, and awesome dynamic women to boot. Wheel, wrench, weld, electrical - doesn't intimidate us. We love it, wheel it, live it, breath it, and then whip up an awesome dinner LOL

As far as the loss we have experienced here in NorCal - losing our Chapter President - I hope you are not confusing me with his wife and children, they are bearing the unbearable, we are mourning, but I can't even image their experience. (There was a long running joke on this board in the old days about Rich and I be a couple - it was a joke, we have always been just friends).

Ciao - if you can get there for Saturday, I'll take you out - if not, we'll see you in October.

I am growing in my confidence that is for certain. I have to, it is me, myself, and I; however, I now have a contributing factor, added backbone, namely people who care and desire for my King and I to succeed, this is making a difference to my world.

Wednesday, I am going to try my best and explain to you (and everyone else) what is happening when my King is feeling sick. Today, I plan on taking note as I go about my daily routine with him (my King).

Thank you so much, I feel once you guy's understand, you will give me the tools to nego., with the dealer and/or if this fails I am not going to be blind, which is in itself lifts a heavy load off my shoulder. I will know what I am talking about, not just a woman with a Hummer, but one who knows about her machine. In this way, how can I be taken advantage of?

No my friend, I am not confusing you as being the wife of Rich.

I agree with you, I too cannot imagine the pain they are going through, I just know their pain woke me up when considering them in thought yesterday. My soul aches for them, not me, I have no problems I only thought I did.

I love your statement, "We love it, wheel it, live it, breath it, and then whip up an awesome dinner." Bust or die, I feel the same someday in the future...........my main thing is breathing it!
