Does anyone know "Mud"?

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone knows the gentleman who goes by "Mud" on this forum? I know his real name from pm's, however, I won't post it here. But I don't know him personally. The reason I am asking is that I sold (or thought I did) a set of Fabtech shock hoops, and haven't heard from him. He said on October 28th that he put the check in the mail, so I later sent out the shock hoops. However, I have received no check, and haven't heard from him. And yes, I've tried pm'ing him.

I'm not trying to criticize the guy, but I'd like to know if I got taken. Or if he's just been out of town, or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is no user "Mud", are you sure that was the name?

Just looked at your classified thread and the username is actually [__--MUD--__]. He has not logged in since Oct 28th so there is a possibility that something happened. Hopefully it's just a mistake somewhere or an issue with the mail and you will hear something soon. He wasn't somebody that simply created an account to buy from you and disappeared which is a good sign.

He is also a member of ClubHummerOffroad. He is on and off the forums, but he is a good guy, so I wouldn't worry too much. I'll let you know if I see him post up on CHO!

Yes, I do have his address, but I won't post it here for obvious reasons.

And it's not so much the matter of money as it is principle. I tracked the package, and it was delivered on 11/09/09, so I'm assuming he has it.

I do not have his phone number. I would've called already if I did. I have his name and address, so I figured I'd ask here before I took any other action.

Didn't figure you had it but thought I would check. Anybody have the ability to get a phone number from an address?

You can try a reverse lookup on several different sites and search his address, just depends on if his number is listed or not. Might also try the local phone company in his area, it might be an easy lookup if it is unlisted.
