For the 6th straight year Corpus Christi was named birdiest city this year, and Nueces county was birdiest county for the third year in a row.

South Texas is a birder's mecca.

Lots of British Birders go there as a matter of fact

While I am sure there will be lots of times we'll be looking up at the sky, it won't be because we are looking for any of those birds

Re: Long Ranch, TX - The Day After

Postby Calamitygirl » Sun Jul 27, 2008 9:15 am

We had a long, hot day, but there was a cool breeze at times! The company was great, the wheelin' was extreme, and I will let the guys fill you on the details. As far as birds go this is the ONLY one we saw! I'm not sure what that bird was looking at, Tom perhaps you can help me out here? 8)

Ok, here's a short video I made of Long Ranch. Not one of my best works, the heat got the better of me and I didn't get near the pix I wanted...but we still had a great time! :)
