At the Nordic IPSC Rifle Championships in Finland. Man what a rush! Went with my M1A because the weekend before I had a sniper match also in Finland. Didn't want to travel with two rifles and two different types of ammo. The heavy M1A was a serious handicap, but I had a blast. The 20 round mags also didn't help.

These are some pics of the year's FinnSniper Challenge in Finland. It was the weekend before the Nordic IPSC Rifle Championship. Two weeks of non-stop shooting :) What more could you want?

Grand finale! Had to hold on target for a very long time in between all kinds of distractions :) When the RO blew the whistle you had to shoot your target before he blew his whistle again, which was somewhere around 2-3 seconds. The Finns organize the best matches. :D

Funny thing is I didn't even notice all this was going on since I was so concentrated on my target :) Only after somebody showed me the picture did I ask what was going on in the background.

Nice!

I see I posted a picture of my 6.8SPC a while back. Still not satisfied with its performance so have the parts in hand to rule out the scope as the culprit. Will install new scope, new mount, and use a third kind of ammo. If that doesn't make if happy, it is time for the gunsmith.

Will try to get a picture when I do that. Waiting on a new torque driver plus lots of family obligations at the moment.

I was never really happy with the synthetic stock on this .375, so I eventually sent it in for the full spa treatment and got it back late last year. Picture is property of American Hunting Rifles as Wayne took it:

Took more time and money than originally anticipated (doesn't everything?) but turned out very nice.
