How you built it

2009 H3T Alpha "Hog"

So there is a story that goes along with my truck:

I have been dreaming about owning a Hummer since I can remember. Long story short I was struggling in school but my dad and I made an agreement, if I was to pass all my classes I could get a truck. I spotted an H3T sitting in Austintown, Ohio and I could tell it was the one for me. August 12th we flew out from Houston and landed in Cleveland, It was hard to sleep because I was thinking about it. We go to the dealership and we go out for a test dive at this time I was ecstatic, we come back to the dealership and the salesman asks: "Hey do you wanna go on the test track?" All I could do was nod, we go on the test track and my father and I were taken away by its off road performance on the test track (At the time the truck was stock). He was sold as was I, we purchased it and drove it back to Houston. Since then I have been putting upgrades into it, I have decided that I want to explore with it. So this would be an weekend warrior type expedition build, the H3T's platform is perfect for what I want to do with it.

Here are some pictures from then and now:

So my dad told me my body lift came in 1in Daystar, and I just ordered 5100 Bilstein shocks for all four corners from Hummer Parts Club (really excited to go home). Those are the next immediate major mods/repair. Unfortunately I have sustained some damage and a CEL light came on and that has put a dent in the mods. All repairs are scheduled to be completed my May and mods will resume, starting with another swing arm to hold gas cans.

Fuel pressure sensor (P/N 13502903), a sucker to get to. Gotta drop the tank, gonna have the dealer put it in, I'll get the part. I just don't have time to get to it.

Yeah, one of those time consuming projects if you don't have a shop. Of course if you don't even have the time it doesn't matter if you have a shop.

So far nothing new still. I will be getting paid on the 10th, when I do I'll buy the sensor but I won't get it repaired until I come home on the 26th (I trust my home dealer more), I was also quoted for my bent fender somewhere around $215, not bad at all. Hopefully I get that fixed in March and I can continue modding. Just an update for whoever is following :yup:

Far easier to jack up the bed to access the tank.
