We need another team! The driving is not that bad, mostly dirt roads. Lots of strategy!

Darren (nav 2) just called me last night. He's coming by on Thrus. for an intro. My only concern is his physical capability so far cause he sounds kinda old (not that old makes you incapable, just less likely to be capable by statistic). We need to have a team meeting, and it would be helpful to have a multiple team meeting if there are multiple teams running for HXC. Come on peeps! This is gonna be great fun! No breakage likely, just enough challenge, and some new terrain! I should be turning out a tested fuel blend by the time this happens, so there's less cost for Diesel trucks willing to run the mix. So far, research says that any pre-Alpha trucks are capable of running an 80/20 blend. H1S has been tossing computers around his back yard (literally) to test their stability and we have a "good system" :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: I've been testing intercoms, comp. gear, oddball accessories, tools, and starting an all aluminum roll cage/roof/rack/acc. carrier, the results of which will be available if its a viable system. Come on people, we need an h2 and h3 team at a minimum! Its not like you gotta break your ride to play, just be willing to to play! So far this thing hasn't been won by any truck other than Disco's in the last 15 yrs. Time to show what a stock/semi-stock H-truck can do!

OK!
Adjustment in the Race Team.
Truck 1, H1
Driver= Eric Hemminger
Navigator= Paul Patenaude
Truck 2, H1
Driver= Dave Morrison

Were almost ready. Preruns were awesome with only 1 destroyed tire.
Still working out some bugs with the navigation program. (We don't know how to use it :lol: )
Thanks for the sponsership goodies Phil 8)

So what happened with the race?

I was going to go with the Psycho team but the decision was made to pull out and do more testing so we were doing runs out in the high desert instead that weekend.

OK, I got a NAVI! Looks like we can get to the practice area this sun. Just waiting on Rich for con-fur-ma-shun. Y'all's gonna love my nav pick. I already had to quell the laughter from his "Medical questionnaire".

Question: What is your general physical condition?
Answer: I can lift heavy stuff, and outrun your mom.

I lol'd... and then I felt bad. :lol: :lol:

I'm gonna try to get the race hood cut and ready. Jon, if you still have the D-kals, I should have a place to put'em.
