Would the pit crew need to keep up with the racer? Obviously not I guess. SO how does that work.

I'd REALLY like to do this if I can pull it off. My boss is a real a-hole about time off though.

Looks like you have more than you need and an overflowing RV. Maybe I'll just meet up with you guys in Reno or be at the last pit with Eric.

It will be fun. Troy and I are co-driving so we'll have some fun pictures of the race to share. I look forward to the experience and meeting others I've only known on the forum.

You can monitor the race through GPS tracking systems on this link http://www.trackinginternational.com/tracking/. Rob is 0052. I have been checking up on them throughout the day. It looks like they had some trouble early in the race. Then nursed it back to the start line. They appeared to have got the truck running shorty after that and headed back out. As I right this they have been at Pit 1 for some time now. . Hopefully all is well and they can get that beast up and running shortly. Rod Hall and Chad Hall are also racing Hummers. They are 3111 and 4111 respectively.

Update, Rob evidently broke a steering gear. It sounds like they found one at a local part store out there. So, hopefully that is the major damage and they'll be up and running tonight. I'll see if I can find the info on what time Pit 1 closes. Keep you fingers crossed!
