:o Holly Molly! That looked like fun, but reckless as hell. Lucky they didn't do some serious damage to that SUT!

For sure that H2 driver is not all there. Quite surprised that it seemed to do a bit better than the Jeeps climbing out of the steep end of the mud pit though.

I think that video shows us why, the BLM likes to close our trails down on us. :yup:

That's the reason why warranties don't cover everything they're supposed to. Must be nice to trash a vehicle.

LOL having looked at some of the replies I should explain a little more about the location.

Parts of Hollister are meant to be driven that way.... sort of.
http://ohv.parks.ca.gov/pages/1170/file ... ch-web.pdf

You can see the two 4x4 obstacle courses on the map.

They have a bunch of obstacles and mud pits and bumps to bounce around on. I guess if I had seen the video not knowing that I might have been a little :o myself.

Having said that... I would NEVER have driven the way the guy in the SUT did. In fact several times during the day I had warned him that these things are NOT indestructible he ignored my warnings and ended up with about 7000 bux worth of damage. I ended up with no damage at all.

I'm a firm believer in the 'slow as possible and fast as necessary' philosophy of trail riding.
