Socal Runs

Postby smadja » Sat Apr 07, 2012 11:07 am

Hi all...
I was a paid member here years ago then I recommended it to my father who moved here recently and he also became a paid member, but he received no welcome pack/tshirt or anything... he also sent some questions and got no response... and I have not seen too many events organized.. but I hope you guys all held on to your Hummers anyway!

I hope the club is alive and well... would appreciate a bit of an update.
As 2 H3 owners, we would love to participate in local runs if you still organize them.

In the meantime, my hunger for local trails has pushed me to start a local socal club. If anyone is interested, we are open to all vehicles, have about 75 members and do local runs about once a month.

We are organized here and its totally free:

Hope to see you guys on the trails again soon either way.

Best,
Wishes

If either you or he could shot me a PM with his name as well as the username for his account I can check into it. The welcome packages are sent out from southern CA so shouldn't have taken more than a day or so to arrive. As far as I am aware all welcome packets have been sent out.

What address did he send it to and when? Since the addresses have been active for a number of years and are published all over the place unfortunately we get a TON of spam and legit emails are sometimes filtered out with the spam.

I always respond to all email I receive. Unfrotunately, like Mark said, we get a lot of spam. I scroll through the spam folder, but it is possible that I missed it.

I haven't been planning many runs recently because I have been super busy with work and my family. Unfortunately, there has been no one else stepping up to plan any runs or organize anything recently. Please feel free to post your runs up in this section. If you plan it, they will come.

Thx Guys,

Wasnt really worried about the tshirt as much as I thought there were no more outings happening...

I'll have to find out from him about his username.. mine also changed as I was on here back in... hm... 2006.. and with email changes and no activity I lost my username/pass combination so I had to create a new account... (which explains why my account looks so young)..

In any case I am glad you guys are still around...do you have a link to your events in socal?
I must have missed that...

thx !

If you know your original username I should be able to reactivate it for you.
