Ric-Here

Postby Ric » Tue May 23, 2006 11:33 am

I'm Ric, and have had to opportunity to wheel with alot of the guys from the Texas group!
Had a Sage Green '03 Lux with '37 Super Swamper SSR's and a few other toys added.
I now drive a '04 Jeep Unlimited with a 4\"lift and GY Wranglers.
I'm up in Virginia for now(About a year or so), but will get back to Texas as soon as possible!!!
Great bunch of Guys and Gals here!!!
I consider myself lucky to have made such great friends!!!

Jeep

Postby Ric » Mon Jun 12, 2006 11:50 am

I actually bought me a set of used sliders, but of course they don't fit an unlimited. I can't really fab any stuff in an apartment complex, so my options are to leave the steps, or climb in like a little girl

The bumper is actually pretty stout, but no place for the winch. I've been looking for a winch platform for less than $100 that mounts directly to the frame.

I wheeled with the Paragon group, and had no issues of rubbing, or getting hung up, so I'm fairly happy with the set up the way it is.

Of course, it's nothing like Texas wheeling  ;)

Do you have the sway bar connected in that pic? Doesn't look like much flex for a Jeep :duh:
