It is my dd but I do some lite wheeling. I know I need to beef up the front end but I would still like to share it with u guys but I need some help figuring it out thanks

Thats awesome! Please post up pictures. What lift kit do you have? I have 35s now but have upgraded my front end and want to do a rancho lift and 38"+ tires next

I road around for 2years on 37 mudgrapplers with just 2in td cranck and a daystar bl but now I run a rancho cranck to 6 1/2 in with a 2 in bl. I've done all the work my self. Tell me how to post pics and I would love to. I'm new and trying to figure all this out

Welcome to HXC 8)

Would love to see what you have done to your H3. To post pics click on the "Upload attachment" tab below the window where you type your message. Then click "Choose File" to select the photo on your computer. Once selected click the "Add the file" button to add it to your post. You can add up to 10 photos per post. I forget the size limit for the photo to show up but think it's around 200K. Best size I have found for posting photos on for forum is roughly 800 X 600 pixels so if you can resize a copy to that before uploading everything should so up good.

Got to ask, what is the performance like with the 3.5 and 40" tires? Also how much rubbing do you get?

With 40's ya could leave it in third and keep the RPMs low.. Let that thing slip into 4th and I can't imagine it's gonna be happy... With that much tire, you might wanna seriously look at transmission coolers..

Good looking rig though..

If u ever get to Delaware stop by and see me. I have friends in fl and I get my rig down there I'd like to meet u. I did choose to go whith the Goodyear cause they r much lighter and Skinner then my 37 nttos. That could help me from rubbing.I know recon is a serious custom built crawler but if u compare pics we sit about the same hight on our 40s.
