There is a file size limit to keep server space requirements down. The best size I have found for posting photos to show in the post is 800 x 600 pixels. There are a number of free programs that will do this for you. If you are on a Windows system you can do it with the included program Paint if I recall.

SAMKELLY wrote:congrats on your purchase...Your HUMMER H3 looks identical to when I first got mine 2006..even the colour is the same...Now...since then I have done some mods that made it my own...You will soon be doing stuff and you have us to assist you in anyway we can....I have attached a few pics of the exterior of my 2006 HUMMER H3 and your timing is spot on as just purchased new tires or what I like to call NEW BOOTS for my HUMMER H3 and I just love the look and the ride...These are BFG 315/75/16 MUD TERRAINS on 16 rims(factory chromes)...I ran BFG ALL TERRAINS for years and the ride on these MUDS exceed the comfort ride level of the ALL TERRAINS hands down.
I was seriously looking at the COOPER SST mud terrains in the same size but spoke to some other owners of these particular coopers and was told the ride wasn't good...a lot of road noise....mind you ...I did also get the road noise warning on these BFG MUD TERRAINS but I have to tell you that these BFG MUD TERRAINS have got to be the best ride comfort I have ever had in a long time...I was running BFG ALL TERRAIN 295/75/16 TIRES FOR APPROX 2 YEARS and prior to that 285 /75/16 for 2 years prior to that...traded up every two years...the original tires were those tiny 265/75/16 from factory on aluminum rims..i purchased the chromes a few years back from a guy on ebay
hope this helps....max I would recommend though with standard ride height (add BLIESTEN FRONT LEVEL SHOCKS AND CRANK YOUR TORRSION BARS)...is a 315/75/16 tire...any bigger and your going to run into problems in a variety of ways unless you do a lift kit etc etc....I wasn't going to get into that.....the height now is great...a standard Hummer H3 on factory tires looks tiny when I'm side to side with it....So again, I hope this helps you out.......Take Care
PS...If you need any help with anything ,just email me at hummersam1963@gmail.com
I know the 2006 HUMMER inside and out...I have done a lot of mods to the engine area, exhaust area and the interior....SO IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS,,,,IM YOUR GO TO GUY ANYTIME BUDDY!!
HUMMER OWNERS HELPING HUMMER OWNERS

I just purchased a 2007 H3 2 weeks ago. Had a small leak in the gearbox cooler hose, so got that fixed yesterday. I want to know if:

1. Can I install the small orange lights on the roof - like the Hummer Luxury package or something?
2. I want to replace my tires - which ones should i go for?
3. Which brake pads would be advisable?
4. What about shocks?

Btw, I do not do off road and yes, I am based in Doha, Qatar in the Middle East.

Regards
JB

Congratulations on your H3, you are going to love it.

1. Yes, you can install the market lights but the problem is finding them. Watch sites like Ebay, they sometimes pop up.
2. Depends on what you want. I run 35" BFG KM2s which are their mud terrain tire. Aggressive tread pattern which means they are louder on the road. A good all around tire is the BFG KOs which are their all terrain version. Great on road manners, quite, pretty good off road and last 50K miles easy.
3. I have just stuck with stock myself.
4. Bilstein makes some great shocks for H3s.

Post some pics when you get a chance.
