2008 H2 P069E code

Postby Xerc » Sat May 28, 2016 8:07 pm

Has anyone seen this code before? My check engine light came on today. I went to autozone to have it checked and that code is all they could tell me. After looking around I see it could actually be a couple of things, so I thought I'd check here with you guys first before spending more money on my issue.

So I went and bought a diagnostic scanner from Autozone and found that my H2 is now reporting a U0109 code, Lost Communication with Fuel Pump Control Module. This is going to be an interesting fix. Anyone have any ideas?

For anyone who comes across this problem, this is what it was.

After getting the P069E code, the H2 died about 2 weeks later. I bought a scanner and then pulled the U0109 code. It turns out it was the FPCM, which is that damn little box right below the drivers side door on the frame. The bad news is that this is a part that even if you install yourself, you will have to take it to the dealer to get programmed to your VIN. Long story short, about 500 dollars later, I was up and running.

Now, time to move onto the dmg that was caused by someone trying to steal the damn thing!
