LS7

Hi Guys,

Anyone ever dropped an LS7 into a 2007 H2, or heard of it being done.

Not sure its worth the $$$. The LQ4 in the H2 is a strong motor and with the right tweaks, like L92 heads, GM hot cam and a few other tweaks along with a good tune you could get your stock H2 engine up close to LS7 specs for much cheaper than installing an LS7. Hell why not just do a diesel swap or throw on a supercharger.

Thanks for the reply, a SC is on the cards, any suggestions for a good bolt on unit. I'll look into your other suggestions. You're the 2nd person that's advised against the LS7 and suggested I just work the stock motor.

There is an H2 motor w/ a blower on craigs list in Florida or Texas for $1000. Motor has some knocking noises, it would be worth getting just for the blower.
