Ford Bronco 90

Saw a 90 Ford Bronco with 109k showing on the od. No spare bald tires leaking coolant but running. Guys says he paid 1400 and will let it go for that. It is in rough shape with some serious cancer in spots.
It has potential however how would you know on a old rig if the odometer was unhooked for a while and interested in what others that have some experience would suggest in taking on a project like this for a spare rig?
Opinions welcome...

As far as I know there isn't any way to tell if the OD had been disconnected at some point. Could be very different up there but I know I have seen Broncos around the same age that were in better condition (at least it sounds that way) than this on go for the same or less down here. If you have not yet, might be worth shopping around a bit.

I'd be more worried about the rust and coolant leak than the miles. Plus, that year has the 8.8 rear end instead of the 9". So not as desirable to even part out. I'd pass and look for something in better shape.
