4 Wheel Drive Not Working?

Postby Boostedokc » Wed Apr 28, 2010 10:56 pm

I was looking at a 2003 H2 today and I was trying to put it in 4 wheel high and low to make sure it was working properly. I could not figure out how to get it into 4 wheel low. I tried everything I could think of to get it to stay in 4 wheel low.

Park and pushed 4W low button. (Yellow Light Blinked)
Nuetral/stopped pushed 4W low button (Yellow Light Blinked)
Nuetral/slow rolling pushed 4W low button (Yellow Light Blinked)
Put in 1st gear and pushed 4W low button (Yellow Light Blinked)
I tried holding the button down for a while
I even tried messing with the button about the 4Wheel High
At one point I got the Neutral light to stay light red. Turned the vehicle off and started it again and the red light went off.

Any ideas? Am I a total idiot? Could it be something messed up, if so any ideas?

In order to shift into 4lo, you have to put the transmission in neutral and push the button. I saw you tried this. This means that it may have an issue. The light will generally blink a few times and then stay lit. Doesn't sound like it is doing that.

I finally know my calling in life! I'm an a asshole!
I feel sorry for all the soldiers and intelligence officers who over the last century have worked hard to defeat communism, only to have it elected by "choice".
