New transmission misbehaving?

Postby hdneubauer » Wed May 16, 2012 1:17 pm

I have a 2007 H3 and after developing severe slipping of clutches in Auto Transmission, the entire transmission was replaced under warranty.
However, I am noticing three things with the new tranny that have me wondering whether to take it back in. Can any of you please give me some guidance/info on these:
1. First thing in morning for about the first 1/4 mile, the trans & engine seem extra loud and reluctant to shift to higher gear. When I speed up and shift to next gear it goes away for rest of day.
2. Frequently when stopping at a stoplight, the engine seems to bog down a bit. It puts me in mind of hitting the brakes in a vehicle with standard transmission without using the clutch.
3. Turning a tight corner at intersection causes engine to rev like going to neutral or down-shifting for a few seconds

Any insight on these behaviors is greatly appreciated!

When in doubt take it back. I have dealt with a misbehaving Hummer (Ok guy's shhhhhhhhhhhhh, we know it became the driver :wall:) Seriously though, sounds like a problem to me. :where:
Real Women Drive Hummers and This One, once upon a time, Owned Her Own. Now she is just the black Jeep of the Hummer Family going topless and becoming way too dirty. (No Recovery Needed)

I would rather be found camping & off-roading than to be found at home

I am no mechanic but have you checked the fluid level? Even it that is all it is I would take it back, they should correct any issues it is having.
