rear shocks, whats stock? whats a good replacement

I need rear shocks. I think im getting the bilstein cognitos for the front but hoping to save a little dough for the back. whats stock? can I do a shackle lift with stock shocks? or what after market ones are reasonable and good? do matching cognitos?
