Members best wheeling pictures

Postby Alec W » Tue Nov 06, 2007 8:57 pm

OK here’s how this thread works.

This is a member maintained tread.
Members post up their single best picture here (one best pic per member).
Replace your picture with a better picture by editing your original post from time to time (this will keep it interesting).
The picture must be out on a trial, no driveway shots or scenery please.
Remember we tread lightly here, so no off trail pictures.
Any vehicle is fine, we don’t care about brand here at the HXC.
Add some comments about the picture, like where it was taken etc.
No other posts, please comment on a separate thread and I’d encourage mods help here if they could.

Mod Edit: Here is the link to the comments thread:

Nothing great, but memorable for being the first real workout of a front locker:

This was taken by Sewie in Hollister. It's still my favorite pic to date.

Could certainly post more "extreme" shots but this has always been one of my favorites. This is myself, HIHummer and Paragon on Trail # 6 in Tellico and if I recall correctly was taken by BossHoss. Truck was a month old, it was my first time ever wheeling and I was HOOKED!

Here is one of my favorites! This is at Gulches at the bottom of Heartbreaker. I got my suspension is flexed out because I am leaning my door on a big rock! That is probably where that dent came from!

This is one from my first time wheeling the H3 this summer at KS Rocks. As usual the descent was much steeper than it looks it the pic, but was easy enough thanks to some great spotting by our Chapter President Aaron.

Here's one of my all-time favorites....somewhere on 1st section of Fins & Things in Moab, pre-35's & still had alloy showing...felt like my wheelin' confidence grew 3 sizes that day.

Notice the tell-tale bent plate?

Geez, choosing a favorite wheeling pic is like asking someone which is their favorite child. :/

Sooooo, until I change my mind.....

Edit: I changed my mind. :P See page 2.
