Hello, all!
Sign up here for the HXC’s Texas chapter spring adventure!
https://www.facebook.com/events/192730677872830/
We will be putting our Hummers to the test March 15-17 at Hidden Falls Adventure Park near Austin, Texas. There’s all sorts or rock crawling, obstacles and a little water fording to give your Hummer the work out you’ve been looking for. All Hummer owners are welcome!
You can find information on park and camping fees here: http://www.hiddenfallsadventurepark.com/
As of now, here is the plan:
March 15th: Arrive at the park at 9:00am and get some light wheeling in until noon. At that point, we will eat lunch and continue exploring, looking for more challenging obstacles to conquer. At 5, we will head to the campsites and set up for the night. (You are responsible for setting up your own camping reservations.)
March 16th: Hit the trails at 9:00am, so be saddled up and ready to ride! Break for lunch, and wheel until dark. (Dinner in Marble Falls?)
March 17th: Depending on what the group is feeling like, we can get one last wheeling rally in, or depart from the park.

Things you need to bring:
-Camping equipment/food
-Cash for camping/park fees
-A friendly attitude
-Socket set/jack/jack stands
-Spare parts such as CV axles, tie rods (inner/outer) etc.
-FRS hand held radio (walkie talkie) if your vehicle is not equipped with a CB radio.
-First aid kit

See you out on the trail!

I will let David answer for sure since he is running this event but should be open to anybody. To become a member just follow the link below. As far as the name the club was created due to the attitude at the time of THCI but that's not why it was named. Not to bash THCI but that's pretty funny

Looks from your scouting mission and other photos I have seen that there are some fun trails there.

Over all the scouting mission was fun. May have been for not however, as there are no hard commitments to attend from anyone.
