I would like to take the back trail to crown king. Has anyone hit this trail in the last 30 days?

Probably 45-60 days ago....REALLY easy 'cept for maybe 4 or 5 places... FUN though dont get me wrong...biggest issue is heavy weekend traffic...atv's, cycles, others 4wds etc..
I know Alrock is interested in a run again soon....maybe we could arrange something for next weekend??

mnstrh2,

I agree the back road to crown king is average in difficulty. That is when you do not hit a 2 foot plus runoff (this saturday around 4pm) as soon as you make it past the old mine. I wish the camera was with us. Solid down pour once we passed the mine and maintained a two foot plus flow of water for about 10 interesting miles. The solid down pour did let us get our moneys worth and seem to run off all weekend warriors. I live close to lake pleasant so, let me know if you or anyone is looking to play in the AZ desert.
