This letter generator is an excellent resource and a very helpful too in helping your voice be heard. I've just used it to send my opinion of the perky girl/smoky bear transformer and I hope all of you will to. Don't sit there and take it, get your opinion out there! :yup:

Sewie wrote:Despite the jokes on this thread, this IS a serious matter. This is an ad sponsored in part by the USDA Forest Service that has a blatant anti-OHV message. These are your tax dollars being used to produce propaganda against you and our community. Whether you ride ATV's or not, we're all in this together - and who do you think they'll come after next. :x

They were talking about this ad on the news this morning. Didn't catch all of it but said something about it being reviewed :/

Of topic but on our tax dollars paying for ads there was a radio ad I kept hearing a month of so ago talking about food stamps and how they can help you in this economy. Don't recall what government agency paid for the ad but I do take offense to them spending money to advertise how they can spend even more of our tax dollars giving it away to people :x

The "Real" Bear attack:

I caught Smoky himself attempting to rip off our bird feeder a couple of weeks ago. I snapped these pics of him from our living room window. Needless to say, we just left him alone and he eventually went on his way. And no, he wasn't able to break open that bird feeder!

Wondering Rob - were you the first to bring this ad to BRC's attention? :duh:

Oh crap! That's a close call. Glad no one was outside at the time. Nice pictures though.

I heard it from Michelle Russell (OHV4TN - State Lobbyist).. She's got some pretty tight relations with Blue Ribbon, but she may have heard it from them..

I heard that too, some PSA but I thought I saw an ad on TV, been a while so maybe it was the radio, I'm getting senile in my old age anyway.
