Lot's of places.

Just up Hwy 62 right north of Palm Springs is Rattlesnake Canyon and a whole ton of trails. That is the east end of Big Bear. Not that many miles at all.

Down south is Coyote Canyon, Calcite Mine, Truckhaven, Fonts Point, and The Slot. Great trails. Tons of fun.

OH, and don't watch 'The Hills Have Eyes' before you venture out that way.
On second thought just stay out of Landers all togther, unless you're into mutant chicks.....and crack

My wife and I did Joshua Tree National Park this weekend. The cool part was entering from HWY62 off of Gold Crown Rd./ Old Dale Rd. Some good wheelin with some nice sites and exploring of Mines etc. We also met up with Mark Christopher Hummer for their "Hummer happenings" in Rattlesnake Canyon above Pioneer town. That was definitely cool with some real good wheelin. Thanks for all the input you guys gave. Anytime anyone wants to go out in So. Cal. get a hold of me.

Glad you had a good time. Rattlesnake Canyon is fun. You thought about Canyon Sin Nombre run next Sunday. It's listed as Sand Verbena Showdown run in the events section. It is one of the best trails we do in Anza Borrego. :yup:

Cool, I'll run it by my wife. Seth, was it you that had the noise in the front end? Did you ever find out what it was?

Nope. I am taking it in tomorrow. I forgot what to mention, though. :duh:

Shoot, I have never been in such a noisy vehicle as my H3. That thing squeaks, creeks, groans, and moans all the time. I tell the service guy to fix it when I take it in for other stuff. Sometimes he can, sometimes he says he can't figure it out. I have never seen another new vehicle have such issues. Of course it could be that I jar it to death on washboards while off-roading.

I know, but should it really creek n moan that much? Hearing it makes me think something is wrong with it. I had a screw from the chrome gas cap cover come unscrewed from the washboards and the license plate light bracket broke. Its gonna go in Friday, heck they already put new leaf springs in. My dealer is pretty good so I will see what they find.
