NorCal - Friends of Highlakes

Well a new Friends group has formed here in Northern California.

Sewie and I have been wanting to hit some trails in this area. I had no idea how beautiful it was up there. Maybe a good area for a South comes North trip?

Some incredible Lakes and spectacular Back country!!

You have such beautiful country out there, I am so jealous :x

Thank you Mark, it is a very special area, I just hate to see how much they are going to lose unless it is fought for.

Here is what it looked like before the Temporary Closure (which will be for a period of 1-2 years so a site specific analysis can be completed)
