We may have lost Devil's Den, but we now have Satan's Playground

Bit of drive for most of us, but looks like it could be a fun place;

Looks like a fun weekend trip. I Googled the nearby towns and wow, that is quite a drive from CC!

Is this place (and K-Rocks) privately owned? Can't imagine what their insurance is but you have to admire the way they've capitalized on land that probably can't be used for much else.

Yes, privately owned, as is Cline Ranch that we will be going to Saturday. Most of the wheeling ranches down here, Katmecy, Cline, YO, 7Canyons, etc are all privately owned. Some are hunting facilities, some are just barren land.

Don't think so, the modified Bronco in the pics is the owners ride I believe.

John, I could have sworn you had an '01, was I mistaken, or did it drink from the fountain of youth?

I guess since you already have a thread started I'll supply the detective work for you. My name is James, I am an owner of Con Safo ranch, home of Satan's Playground ORV. My brother is running the park and he has an '01 hummer H1. The ford buggy in the pic's is mine, it's called \"War Horse\".
Yes the ranch was specifically purchased for the intention of creating a off road park. Don't worry know one will be laughed at for having a hummer, they are a great vehicle and other than the jeep rubicon the only vehicle \"out of the box\" that I would take out on the trails I like to drive.
I will be glad to answer any questions that you have.
Our place has trails to accommodate any level of driver, from the pleasure trail driver to the thrill seeker. Our trails are very fullsize friendly and I promise you will have a good time. :)

Hi James, thanks for the info.

Looks like a pretty cool place you guys have out there. We'd definitely like to make the trip out there sometime. We are back at Cline this month, down on the National Seashore in May, Katemcyn in June, but July or August would be cool (very hot actually).

War Horse is an awesome looking buggy, nice work.

Thanks, and yes the summer months get a wee bit warm. I'm sure the a/c's will be blowing. Don't forget for private booking's we offer the night wheeling permits (should be good in the summer 8) ).
