Nice find, really cool to see some pics of how an earthquake effects the landscape. :o I almost went to Anza that weekend but went to Palm Springs instead. Could only imagine running one of those trails and seeing those boulders coming down at you during a quake!

I remember driving through there and worrying more about flash floods. Hadn't even thought about how sketchy it would be during an earthquake. :o :o

We continued down Fish Creek Wash and turned up into Broken Axle Gulch, only to find the way blocked right where the sign is posted at the first squeeze.


Blocked? I'd say it just made the trail more interesting. ;) :lol:
