National Resources Climate Adaption Fund

Postby Mark » Tue Jul 07, 2009 11:47 am

Just read this in the latest issue of Blue Ribbon Magazine. This is one of many things I was worried about with the Cap & Trade bill. Please call and/or write your senators and let them know you strongly appose the bill.

According to reports, Congressman Raul M. Grijalva, Chair of the House subcommittee on National Parks, Forests and Public Lands, is working on creating a "Natural Resources Climate Adaptation Fund", which would spend billions in tax dollars the climate change bill would "earn" on all manner of "conservation projects." If nothing is done, billions of "carbon tax" dollars will be spent closing currently available recreation lands across the country.

Now I have not confirmed this report but do trust the source.
